Tony Roma's is the starting place for the ACTR "Run for the Sun" ride. |
Looks like a good turn out - the unofficial count was 110 bikes. |
Registration for the run costs five bucks per poker hand....... |
and that includes a dinner of Bar-B-Q chicken, baked beans and cole slaw. What a deal! |
Look over there! Jim thinks he can ride that bike. |
Where? Oh, yeah. And he calls himself a biker? |
Bike riding just ain't what it used to be. |
OK, Al, I thought you were going to show Jim how it's done. |
The second stop was the VFW in Harriman. |
They had a drawing for prizes - T-shirts and things. |
I never win anything so I'll just watch from over here. |
Hey, I think that's my number. |
Third stop was the C&M in Roane County. |
OK! My hand sucks - we're out of here! |
The forth stop was the Hitching Post. |
I'm as dry as a popcorn fart. Let's get a beer! |
The Hitching Post made us feel welcome. |
And they had some good grub for us too! |
Ah, we made it to the Warehouse Taven, final stop and party central. |
Wait a minute, Backroad Bar and Grill! When did that happen? |
Oh well. By any name the party is the same! |
Party on, Dudes and Dudettes. |
Ok, let's draw that final card and turn in the hand. I've got a commode flush. |
And lets's do the 50-50, door prizes, and also auction a few things for the kids. |
What kind of party is this? Where are the dancing girls? |
It was a great day! We raised over $2000 for the kids. |
